Client: Sportico
Overview: Design work for Sportico, a leading online news journal speaking on the business side of sports. Design production was made for Sportico’s “Converge” Conference. The conference features speakers and panels from all sport sectors in the business of finance and advertising. Production of all dimensions were displayed on Sportico’s site, paid media ad spots and social media channels.
My role: Production and Graphic Designer, I took on the responsibility of designing banner ads for various display sizes for the conference. My role was to contribute the conference presence to multiple social channels to broaden the reach to a wider range of potential customers.
Problem: The hurdle was to attract the casual fan and executives in the industry to Sportico’s Converge conference. Since 2020, Sportico has actively intervened in the $500 billion worldwide sports industry with the business side of sports. Other than a robust digital platform, Sportico also holds events, such as “Converge” that aims to bring industry leaders, fans and other speakers who hold roles at brands such as Snap Inc, IBM and Amazon. To deliver Sportico’s message with the Converge conference, branding had to differentiate from the typical corporate business look.
