Overview: Stride Inc gives parents and students an innovative approach into the education industry through their brand K12, a groundbreaking school-at-home platform. My role was to design versatile ads aimed at establishing and elevating the K12 brand within the education landscape. This yielded the expansion of the brand’s presence allowing parents to enroll their children. The visual strategy provided parents the comfort and ease in deciding K12 as their primary choice for their student’s education in a crowded market.

Problem: The challenge faced by Stride Inc was presenting an online educational curriculum that parents can confide in. Stride Inc’s approach to innovative education also relied on the topic of student safety in a turbulent school landscape where violence unfortunate occurs. My aim was to make parents feel ultimate confidence in K12 as a provider of upstanding education. For K12 to be a standout choice for school, it had to evoke it’s values through its marketing. Uniqueness and fulfillment were the goals — while cultivating academic abilities, talents, social skills, and self-esteem for any student.
Outcome: Using Stride’s brand guidelines I formed part of campaigns with emotionally resonant imagery and brand imagery that led to retention. Collaborating with copywriters, we focused on the Stride brand and storytelling that eventually led to national recognition awards such as the People’s Choice Stevie® Award for the Professional Learning Solution for Education, Courseware Solution Provider of the Year and Online Education Solution Provider of the Year.
